MADE FOR AGENTS
Connect the Lumx MCP
Public, no sign-in. Add it to your agent with one command or one config block.
Codex Cloud doesn’t support MCP configuration yet. Use the Codex CLI.

MCP tools
Both tools are read-only. The MCP can’t access your account or move money. Your backend does that, with your API key.
Lumx skill
Agent skill
Teaches your agent how Lumx works: the order of calls, verification statuses, transaction lifecycles and sandbox test values. Generated from our docs, so it stays current.
Prompt library
Copy-paste prompts that build one integration end to end. Every endpoint they cite is checked against our public spec.
Integrate on-ramps from fiat to stablecoin
Give your coding agent the exact steps, endpoints and enums to build a Lumx on-ramp — quote, create, render payment details, settle on webhooks.

Keys and environments
Keep your API key on your server, out of git and out of the chat. Sandbox uses test stablecoins and mock banking partners, so no real money moves. Production access starts with a call with our team.
FAQ
Can my agent move money through the Lumx MCP?
No. The MCP reads our docs and OpenAPI spec. Money moves only when your backend calls the Lumx API with your key.
Do I need an API key to connect the MCP?
No. The MCP is public. You need a key when your code calls the API. Get a sandbox key from the Lumx dashboard.
Which AI tools work with it?
Any MCP client that supports HTTP. The docs cover Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, the Codex CLI and Claude.
Where should my agent test?
In sandbox, at api-sandbox.lumx.io. No real money moves there. Production access starts with a call with our team.
Should I use the skill, the MCP or a prompt?
Use them together. The skill teaches your agent how Lumx works, the MCP answers specific questions about the API, and a prompt builds one integration end to end.
Can AI systems train on Lumx content?
Yes. Our llms.txt is licensed under CC BY 4.0. AI systems can read, train on, summarize and cite it with attribution.
